Hyllin stretches wide with petal-like edges and a two-tone glaze that shifts gently across the surface. Whether used for serving or simply displayed, Hyllin brings soft drama to any space.
From the first knead to the final firing, these ceramic vases are shaped with great care. The stoneware clay is worked by hand, formed, assembled and left to dry slowly over several weeks – a crucial part of the process, where every step requires patience. Each piece is glazed by hand, and subtle variations in brushwork and thickness make every vase unique. The firing process takes a total of 60–72 hours in different stages. At the peak temperature of 1240°C, glaze and stoneware fuse together. The surface takes on its final character – dense, durable, and full of life. No two vases are ever the same: a thumbprint, a glaze drip or a shift in tone makes each one distinct.

Sandra is a ceramic designer with an organic design language, drawing inspiration and strength from nature. In her work, earthy tones meet soft, natural forms – where every thumbprint, crack, glaze drip and small imperfection is allowed to remain. Not as a flaw, but as a trace of the process.
